stories of a good God – by kids, for kids …

I was worshiping with my mum and a friend we were talking to God about what He wanted to tell us…

I got a picture for my friend, it was a purple dress with gold trimming and a bow in the middle of the neck line, and it had gold satin shoes and a diamond tiara.

She got a picture for me as well, it was gold pots overflowing with gold.

We also got pictures for ourselves.

I got a purple cape (we also have a magicians cape that is purple) which means Royalty.

Then I got two pictures, one, an outside of a purple box and the inside of a purple box, which has a diamond inside.

The funny thing is, the week before, I was given a crystal in the shape of a big diamond as a gift … I had completely forgotten about this.

In my time with Him God reminded me that I had a heart like a diamond … and when I drew the picture, my mum reminded me of the gift of the diamond … a picture of how he saw my heart …

GOD IS A FEARLESS MAN!

I was about 3 years old and I was scared when it was dark because I was afraid that there were wolves in our hallway. 😦

BUT GOD MADE ME FEARLESS! 🙂

Mum and dad kept telling me there was nothing to be afraid of but I didn’t listen to them.

One night God showed me a dream of Little Red Riding Hood, but there were no huntsmen, it was Jesus instead!

He killed the wolf and threw him down deep dark well!

From then on I have not been afraid of wolves trying to eat me in the dark. 🙂

GOD IS REALLY GOOD FOR KIDS!!

AN ANGEL EMERGENCY

I was coming downstairs in my socks and I accidentally slipped! I was face first shooting down the stairs at a tremendous speed. :-(!

Suddenly I thought of gripping onto one of the stair rails and with all my might I held on. But my weight pulled it off. I was half way down the stairs but I felt something catch me…

IT WAS AN ANGEL!! 🙂

I slowed down and managed to make it down feet first, I landed on my feet, and I sighed out a relief “phew, that was close” I said under my breath.

The stair rail needed to be fixed but I didn’t need to be fixed! 🙂

God Is Good For Kids!! 🙂

About 8 months ago, my mum bought me a pink heart with a white butterfly from Swarovski. We bought it to represent God’s loving heart and the butterfly, meant freedom. I wore it about 4 times before I lost it! I looked everywhere around my room where I thought it might be and in the unusual places, and even in the box that it came in.

But we could not find it anywhere!

We were walking around Southland and I just remembered that we needed to buy a new heart for me. I thought about it and mum thought that we should have another look around my room before we bought a new one. After we got home I looked everywhere where it could have been. I told my mum that I could not find it anywhere. She had a look in places that I didn’t think of in the first place. And then we looked in the box, and guess what it was perfectly placed in the box.

We thanked God and that is what I’m thinking write now!

GOD IS GOOD FOR KIDS TOO!

And guess what about two weeks ago I was wearing it and I noticed that there was a finger print mark grazed in the back of it, I thought that it was the finger print of the angel that put it back correctly placed in the box.

What a big thing to happen to a young child!

I got a plate in early August for my mouth. I thought that it would be fun to have one… but it wasn’t!  I found out that it hurt for three days and then it got really annoying to have in, because you had to take it in and out all the time, when I ate.  I’ve got used to it now though.

A few weeks later, I came home from swimming after school and found that I could not find my plate. 😦

I thought I had taken it out for swimming but I did not know for not know for sure …   I told mum and dad that I had lost it and that I did not know where it was.  We looked in all sorts of places, the bench, the table, my room, the music room, we even scanned the floors and behind the pillows on the couches, in my plate box and we even looked in my mum’s office, but there was no sign of it.

When we could not find it, we thought that we should try my school, because I thought that I may have taken it out at play time and dropped it.

At dinner time, my mum taught me that I had a responsibility to take care of my plate and that it was a good lesson for me and that in the future I needed to be more careful because it was really expensive to replace and I would have to use up nearly a year’s pocket money to pay for a replacement it, if I was to pay for it.

So I’ve been taught a good lesson!

After dinner dad went out to find the plate in the school ground. I didn’t go because it was too late and dark. So dad went out to my school with our (the family’s) torch.

After dinner I was impatient to see if dad had found the plate… but he hadn’t found it.

We had prayed all the time and hoped we would find it.  We prayed that God would do what He did for my Kitty Kat in my Kitty Kat Story

So, I was to go to the orthodontist the next day and I was very nervous.

The next day I went to school (as usual) and looked for my plate where I ate my lunch and snack… but it wasn’t there. It was class time and I got to go and look for my plate out side but it still was not there!

After school my mum picked me up. I was very nervous and didn’t want to go but mum had a surprise for me… and guess what it was… MY PLATE! What a surprise for me.

I was so relieved that I couldn’t wait to tell every-one what had happened and most kids were amazed and so was I!

GOD IS GOOD TO KIDS!!!    🙂

See my mum’s blog for how God returned the plate … God is Good!

I was worshiping with my family, up-stairs with scarfs and feather-boas.

I had a red and white one (purity and the blood of Jesus); my brother had a pink one which meant healing (it was a feather boa); my mum had a stripey one, red and white (the stripes of Jesus); and my dad, had a crown, as meaning KING and PRINCE, and also he is the king of the family and the prince of the Lord.

We had music playing.  It was O Taste and See.

First we danced in my room and when we went out into the play-room my brother M was waving the (healing) scarf around the room and wiping it all over us. At the time I had a bit of a cold, but when M waved the scarf on me my cold left!!

NOW YOU SEE GOD IS GOOD FOR KIDS

… and with His stripes we are healed …

Following the path!!

On Sunday we where worshipping the Lord (at the front), when my mum saw her friend (J). We went over to her and started praying. (It was very powerful)!

When the worshipping  stopped we went to the side of room. Another one of my mum’s friend came with us. She got touched by God so much that my mum and a few others had to get her up and out of the room, I stayed there with J. While I was there I started running my fingers along the inside of her (J’s) arm, (while the service was on).

After the service J came over to me and she said to me that while the service was on and while I was tickling her arm I was following the path of the pain that she had (I did not know this at the time) and that while I was doing that the pain had left.

She also said that someone else had prayed for her and the pain in her heart had left.

 GOD IS GOOD FOR KIDS!

J had been in hospital the week before with the pain in her heart and arm and now all of it is gone.

Sunday 5th June 2011

One morning I was going downstairs and I felt a tug on my hair.  I turned around and saw an angel’s wings.  The angel pulled my hair to get my attention.  It told me that it was going to stay there for ever and ever even when we move out of the house it will still be there.

I told my Mum and she said that my 4 year old brother M had tripped at the top of the stairs the night before and had nearly fallen down head first.  He stopped falling at the top where the angel was standing.  She said that M must have been caught by the angel at the top of the stairs.

It was an adult sized angel, about half a size again of my Dad’s height.

It was very bright so I only saw its wings.

Its voice was not as gruff as Daddy’s but about middle sized.

I believe that there are two big angels at everyone’s front door protecting them from the evil.

CHILDREN CAN SEE ANGELS TOO.

GOD IS GOOD FOR CHILDREN.

[We] will not fear the terror of night

nor the arrow that flies by day …

For He will command His angels concerning [us]

to guard [us] in all [our] ways;

they will lift [us] up in their hands,

so that [we] will not strike [our] foot against a stone.

Psalm 91: 5 and 11-12

One day I was sitting on the couch when I saw some clouds around the house.

I was amazed and told mum. I explained what they where about: they were red inside and blue around the out side. The red was the fire of the holy-spirit, the blue is calmness, and we were going to walk, and every-where we walked we would spread health.

She was astonished!

A few days later I saw them again on mum and around my bedroom, while I was in my bed and I told mum that it was going to happen!

GOD IS GOOD FOR KIDS!!

This week my thighs, feet and legs have been hurting a lot. It has been so painful that, at one stage I had to hop around everywhere!

Yesterday I had sport and I didn’t want to miss that! So the night before sport I talked to dad because he was the one I was doing it for. And he said that I do what I could and if it started to hurt I sit out. I tried not to think about what it would be like to sit out.

At work yesterday dad was praying for my legs. He thought of me at 11.15 and I had sport at 11.35.

At the end of sport I was amazed that my legs did not hurt and when I came home that day dad said that he had been praying for me.

Then today my thighs and my feet were hurting at school. I was praying at school and my thighs stopped hurting.

Ever since I have had no pain in my thighs.

GOD IS GOOD TO KIDS LEGS TOO!
